Design carpets from Nepal at the LIFEfair

At the LIFEfair, the fair for sustainable living in Zurich, Label STEP was represented together with the licensee Pfister – a Label STEP-partner since 13 years. Label STEP and Pfister were furniture partner of the lounge of the Swiss Fair Trade Forum and presented an exhibition of high quality design carpets from Nepal.

Nepal is number one place for modern design and the laboratory for material and product innovation of the carpet industry. In order to secure the high level of the Nepalese carpet knotting art and in order to sustainably develop this important branch of economy, good working conditions are essential.
